Something Different

Every once in a while I take on an assignment that has nothing to do with architecture or interiors. I have done work for the Santa Barbara Sailing Center before, and they asked me back to make some images to highlight one of the new chefs they are working with. Spend a day on the water in the beautiful Santa Barbara Harbor, shooting (and of course sampling) some amazing food..............twist my arm. It was a delightful challenge lighting and working within the confines of a 42 foot sailboat, but like my father always told me, if it's easy, it's probably boring. A huge thank you to Skip, Arianna, and the whole crew at the Sailing Center for all their help, and to the fantastic chef Neal Rosenthal for all the incredible food.
